TRIBE

At Prodigy, our goal is to provide dancers with opportunities and experiences that support their growth as well-rounded performers. For dancers who are passionate about performing, our program offers the chance to learn, progress, showcase their skills, and compete.

Our performance teams require a higher level of commitment, with dedication and motivation being essential. These teams offer a valuable platform for students to refine their talents and flourish in a supportive team environment. Through participation, dancers build trust, improve communication both during practices and on stage, and develop strong bonds with their teammates.

In Tribe classes, students participate in 90-minute lessons focused on learning advanced skills and routines for competitions and special events. These sessions introduce dancers to a variety of teaching techniques and styles.

Students interested in joining the Tribe must audition, which takes place in Term 4 each year. Those selected are required to attend all relevant fundamental classes for their age group. This ensures that dancers maintain a solid foundation in core skills and techniques while gaining a broad understanding of different dance genres.

We recommend that students have at least 12 months of dance experience before auditioning for a competition team.
